After three days of action at the Golden Nugget Las Vegas in June, the 2025 Bar Poker Open Vegas World Championship came to a close with Ron Fienberg claiming victory, taking home a six-figure payday of $100,000 and title of BPO Champion. The final day saw only eight players return from a field that started with 1,223 competitors, all gunning for a piece of the $335,375 prize pool.

Fienberg came into the final table as the overwhelming chip leader and never slowed down, eliminating four out of his seven opponents. He finished the job by defeating Bryan Keefer in a short heads-up match to capture the biggest score of his life. Representing his home league - KOntenders Poker USA, the North Carolina resident shared his excitement following the big win.

"Its amazing, it's just everything I dreamed of. Every bar poker open player wants to get here and I cant believe I'm the one here today. I'm stunned and amazed but very, very happy."

Mark Hendrix checked the flop from under the gun, and Peter Schlegel fired 4,000 on the button. Hendrix then check-raised to 12,000, and the call was made.

Both players then checked through the turn. Hendrix led out for another 12,000 on the river, with Schlegel sticking in the call.

Hendrix tabled for jacks and sixes, but Schlegel had that beat showing down to take the pot.

Ru Zhao called in middle position before Johnny Hernandez raised to 1,800 on his left. Jon McClain tossed in a call from the cutoff, and Zhao called again to see the flop.

All three players checked to the turn, where Zhao declined to bet again. Hernandez tossed out a bet of 1,200, with McClain raising to 6,000.

Zhao folded, and Hernandez followed suit allowing McClain to rake in the chips.

Norman Bilodeau limped in middle position, and Donald White followed with a call in the cutoff. Carlin Soto came along in the small blind, and Ashley Ryan checked her big blind option.

All four players checked through the flop, with Soto and Ryan checking again on the turn. Bilodeau fired 1,000 into the middle, and White called. Soto also stuck in a call, while Ryan folded.

Soto checked one last time on the river, and Bilodeau fired another bet of 1,000. White folded, while Soto slid in another call.

Bilodeau showed for a pair of sevens, and Soto turned over for a better pair to claim the pot.

Christopher White opened in middle position and was quickly three-bet to 3,500 by Josef Reuben in the hijack. Robert Carswell made the call on the button before White four-bet to 18,000.

Reuben announced all in for 33,800, with Carswell folding and White making the call.
